ComScore data for October 2012 shows how sticky YouTube has become. The typical YouTube viewer spends almost 400 minutes (6.7 hours) per month on the service — a little over 13 minutes per day. The next nine video providers combined total just 358 minutes.

But the top 10 online video providers still have a long way to go before challenging traditional television. Viewers spend less than a half hour per day on these online video sites together — but 4 or 5 hours a day watching TV.
