BioCentric Energy Announces Launch of New Website
SANTA ANA, CA -- (Marketwire)
04/14/10
BioCentric Energy Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BEHL) is pleased to announce that the Company's new website is complete and live, (www.biocentricenergy.com). The new website includes updated information on the Company's Executive Team as well as the following pages: the Company's products and services including BioCentric Energy's turnkey commercial integrated PBR system, the Algae Culturing Station, the Wall Unit, and Continuous Flow System; a Qualifying Client form and General Inquiries form; an Investor Relations form; BioCentric Energy's new offerings to the Energy, Oil and Petrochemicals sectors; a time lapsed video showing the deployment of the Company's commercial demo PBR system; and lastly a webcam page that will provide a live view of the Company's commercial demonstration PBR system.
The commercial demo PBR system is currently undergoing rigorous sterilization, process optimization and calibration protocols. Although the water in the PBR system appears clear, it contains a proprietary cleaning solution that will sterilize both the inside of the tubes and the corners in preparation of inoculating the Company's first commercial target algae strain. The PBR's proprietary PLC system is being monitored and controlled wirelessly by the BioCentric Energy team throughout the day via internet connections and in the corporate offices using a Smartboard that was recently installed for this purpose. The Smartboard receives a monitor-in feed from any laptop or computer and displays a graphic view of the PLC system which is controlling the photobioreactor. This graphic monitoring displays, in real time, the vitals of the PBR system, such as: the flow rate, the turbidity, the oxygen and carbon dioxide levels, the pH, the temperature, the nutrient levels and other critical elements that are necessary in the commercial production and growth of the algae. In commercial PBR installations each PLC system is capable of monitoring and controlling 5 acres of production, from inoculation to harvesting and drying.
In the newly renovated state-of-the-art BioCentric Energy laboratory, the process of inoculation of one of the Company's proprietary algae strains (for Omega3/EPA oils) has begun. The BioCentric Energy R&D team is pleased with the robust nature, performance and growth rate of this Omega3/EPA strain and anticipates transferring the algae into the Company's Wall Unit within the next two weeks. Following the transfer of the algae into the Wall Unit for further growth and development, the algae will be inoculated into the large-scale commercial demonstration PBR system. The system is currently running clear water (in the sterilization process) but the color of the water will become golden-brown once the system is inoculated with the Company's Omega3/EPA strain. Each day the color and the volume of the algae biomass will intensify and increase as the algae uses photosynthesis to convert carbon dioxide into the golden biomass rich in Omega3 oils and other valuable components. The only byproduct of this environmentally-beneficial process is oxygen which is expelled from the unit via the breathing tubes while carbon dioxide (Earth's most abundant greenhouse gas) is consumed to form valuable oils which are essential to the healthy life of humans and most animal life on the planet.

BioCentric Energy to Deploy Multiple Algae Farm Locations in Southern California
SANTA ANA, CA -- (Marketwire)
04/21/10
BioCentric Energy Holdings Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BEHL) today announced the commercialization of its closed-loop PhotoBioreactor system confirming the company has successfully completed due diligence and the qualification process for several clients desiring to deploy algae farms for the mass production and subsequent commercialization of algae products for Omega-3 (EPA) oil. The clients and the Company have identified and secured several acres on prime property in Southern California that will house five (5) BioCentric Energy's closed-loop photobioreactor (PBR) modules. These same sites hold potential for expansion OF additional acres of PBR modules.
Each closed-loop module is designed to encompass one acre of land. By strategically positioning five modules on the property they will have the economic advantage of sharing the Siemens PLC system as well as the harvesting, dewatering and sharing extraction equipment.
During the initial site assessment on the Southern California properties, the Company identified the water and carbon sources (and the quality thereof), along with the temperature range and climate, the soil characteristics and the physical topography of the land. This was the first step in determining if the land would be suitable for the algae farm. The next step for BioCentric Energy is to finalize the choice of the robust algae strain (Omega-3 EPA) that will grow quickly within the confines of the targeted location. BioCentric Energy's goal is to begin immediately with the grading and civil engineering of the land and subsequently install the integrated closed-loop PBR system by early summer 2010. Once the PBR system is installed, optimized and sterilized, the inoculation of the algae into the system will begin.
The Company is now in the process of qualifying several other clients all interested in purchasing closed-loop PBR systems, and using them to manufacture Omega-3 oils and algal biomass to supply our customers and fill BioCentric Energy's existing, and anticipated purchase orders. These clients are pursuing other locations in California, North America and overseas.
BioCentric Energy's CEO Dr. Brian Goodall stated today, "Breaking ground on our first commercial unit is clearly a very important milestone for the Company, and an event that demonstrates the enormous strides that the Company and our technology has made in recent months. I am also inspired by the number of clients interested in working with us to exploit the enormous potential of the market niches that we have identified and developed. It is particularly rewarding to learn that our technology uniquely fills a void in the marketplace both in terms of our high-value products, their scale and renewable nature as well our ability to complement and symbiotically enhance other green endeavors. Some of these aspects will be the subject of upcoming announcements."
The new BioCentric Energy website has been well received by shareholders, potential clients and investors. The Company would like to thank those who visited our website and submitted feedback and suggestions. Because we value our shareholders and clients the Company is committed to keeping the website current and informative.

BioCentric Energy Announces Equipment Purchases for Its First Commercial Site
SANTA ANA, CA -- (Marketwire)
05/06/10
BioCentric Energy Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BEHL) is pleased to announce that deposits were received and contracts were finalized last week for the first phase of deployment of the Company's PBR (commercial closed-loop photobioreactor) systems. The meeting with the site surveyors and grading engineers on the Southern California property took place last Wednesday and the Company is actively moving forward with the land preparation. Furthermore, the proprietary PLCs and necessary equipment to control the PBRs have been ordered and the assembly will commence as early as next week.
In support of the first commercial PBRs, there are several other steps now taking place at the BioCentric Energy headquarters in Santa Ana, California. These steps include the completion of the Company's improved Wall Reactor that will provide large and continuous volumes of inoculums for the PBRs. BioCentric Energy's harvesting equipment is being optimized for scale-up and large quantities of algae. The Company's demo unit (in Santa Ana) has been modified to purposefully mirror the expected conditions at the first commercial site.
BioCentric Energy received three signed VAR (value added reseller) agreements in the past week representing clients from a wide range of industries. These potentially large clients are seeking the Company's commercial PBRs to monetize CO2 emissions, utilize idle land not suitable for traditional farming and organic sources of nutritional products.
Last Thursday Dr. Brian Goodall (CEO) presented at the National Algae Association meeting in Houston, Texas. The presentation was well received, resulting in significant interest and follow-up discussions from many participants (approximately 140 attendees in total). BioCentric Energy was honored (together with two other algae companies) with an "Algaepreneur" award in recognition of the company's pioneering contributions in the commercialization of the emerging algae business. Dr. Goodall will be sharing a detailed report on the presentation, and related topics with our shareholders in the next few days.
